* Geometry and response are illustrative. USP states a 30A to 100A range; formulation determines whether the material is a flexible foam or a rigid solid.

Less pressure.
More possibilities
in the mold.

Reaction injection molding brings polyol and isocyanate together inside a mold. Low pressure and low heat allow a wider choice of mold materials, which can dramatically reduce tooling costs.

Skin from
the mold.

i-Skin forms its protective outer layer during molding. The tooling can imprint the surface pattern, adding a flexible, tear-resistant skin to the polyurethane foam beneath.

USP makes Soft Touch® Bases. For over 30 years, the brand has supplied baseball and softball bases for youth leagues through college and adult organizations.

Soft Touch describes itself as the only USA-based manufacturer of disengageable bases. Its patented Progressive Release design flexes and releases under pressure.
